Description

Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret blueprints to determine specifications and requirements
  • Fabricate, assemble, and build components according to blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Use various tools and equipment to cut, shape, and weld metal pieces
  • Perform quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production processes
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience:


  • Previous experience as a Fitter or in a similar role preferred
  • Mechanical knowledge and understanding of fabrication processes
  • Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings
  • Ability to weld using various techniques (MIG, TIG, etc.)
  • Familiarity with operating forklifts and other material handling equipment

Skills:


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements and assembly
  • Excellent problemsolving skills to troubleshoot issues during fabrication process
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with colleagues and supervisors

Salary:
$25.00-$30.00 per hour
