As a Claims Customer Service Representative, you will be working within our Fleet Department handling and processing daily damage claim files.

Claims are a byproduct of customers having an accident where they are either deemed at fault or not.

The claims department, upon determining the deductible amount and the process of how the claim will be handled, communicate with the customer of our findings and what now needs to be done to resolve the claim.

As a representative of Clearway, you will negotiate and secure settlement of payment for damages, if the customer is found liable for partial or full, or remit for payment via insurance coverage provided by the customer to Clearway.

You will also be assisting with database and file management as it relates to Clearway's Fleet Vehicles.

You will be working with our Claims Department Team in an environment of team support and integrity. We desire to treat our customers in the same manner we would want to be respected and treated ourselves.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Review and process insurance Claims, as per company policy
Interpret customer policies and coverages
Negotiate settlements
Maintain claims files and customer records
Assist with Fleet database management, and misc. office administration tasks

Requirements and Qualifications:

Post Secondary education preferred; Office Administration an asset
Experience with Insurance, and Claims Processing a definite asset
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Analytical and Organizational skills
Above average verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to control conversations with customers in a professional nonconfrontational yet understanding tone
Above average computer proficiency, especially with Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new programs.
