Description

Vertex Resource Group is currently hiring project based Vessel Entries to support an Edmonton based project we have coming up.

We are looking for motivated, dedicated and skilled individuals with industry experience. You must have a valid Class 5 licence and are willing to drive to site.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have Class 5 drivers licence and be able to drive to site:

Must be local to Edmonton:
13 years confined space tank entry experience
Able to lift and carry up to 45 Kg
H2S Alive
Energy Safety Canada Confined Space Entry
Common Safety Orientation
CSTS2020

RESPONSIBILITES

Work in confined space for shifts of up to 2 hours
Stand, sit, crouch and kneel for extended periods of time
Participate in installation and removal of energy isolation devices, blanks, blinds, etc.
Rig in / rig out ventilation, wash and vacuum equipment
Follow directions accurately
Accurate reporting of conditions in the confined space
Assist confined space entry personnel in donning and doffing required PPE when entering and exiting confined space when not in confined space
Perform assigned emergency response roles including confined space rescue
Actively participate in safety meetings, tool box meetings, permit and hazard assessment reviews
Prepare hazard assessments as appropriate
Maintain composure during high stress and multitasking challenges
Support cleaning of respiratory protective equipment
Complete required inspection records for PPE and equipment
Complete required inventory of trailer daily and at end of project
Support outside of space operations, maintaining support equipment in berm / work area as directed
