As a Line Paint Operator, You Will:

  • Promote, lead, and execute a Safety-First culture for all employees, sub-contractors, and consultants in compliance with Miller Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) polices and contractual HSE obligation for the staff and public are met
  • Operate Skip box's and Monitoring systems while performing painting of new/existing lines
  • Operate Forklifts and Loaders
  • Lay out and pre mark on new and existing asphalt, Following plans/drawings
  • Set up and take down Traffic control including flagging operations as per OTM book
  • Maintain accurate documentation driver logs, fuel records, time sheets etc
  • Facilitate a healthy work environment
  • Maintain/Clean equipment as required and conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:


  • Previous experience in highway painting and maintenance with knowledge of OTM Book 7 traffic control will be given preference
  • Previous mechanical experience with the ability to perform minor repairs on equipment, considered an asset
  • Willingness to learn and appreciate Miller Values safety, quality and integrity so we can continue "Building Greatness"
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work productively in a highly functional team
  • Willingness to work assigned day and night shifts
  • Ability to travel with extended stays, when required
  • Ability to perform manual labour and lift up to 50 pounds
  • Class G License
