About Chimax
Responsibilities:
- Work on a variety of projects, deliver drawings for structural steel and foundation for substation design projects
- Participate in design review meetings
- Work well in team environment
- Prepare drawings in Auto CAD
- Participate in meeting with clients
Requirements:
- Experience in civil/structural/foundation drafting
- Progressive structural drafting/design experience working on civil/structural projects preferably within engineering consulting environment serving the energy industry
- Knowledge of steel and concrete structures desirable
- Knowledge of CSA and other relevant Canadian standards
- Experience with substation, transmission line and distribution line drafting will be considered an asset
- More than 5 years work experience in AutoCAD
- Occasional travel to job site may be required
- Knowledge of line design software and experience with distribution and transmission line design would be considered an asset
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$35,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
