The
Retail Visual Merchandiser plays a key role in bringing Canna Cabana's recreational cannabis strategy to life in our retail stores.

In partnership with senior management, the Retail Visual Merchandiser be responsible for developing & activating in-store marketing and merchandising plans that are relevant to our customers and capture their imagination, passion & loyalty.

The ideal
Retail Visual Merchandiser has a passion for cannabis and is experienced in developing in-store marketing and merchandising plans that are relevant to our target cannabis customer

A day in the life:

Creating planograms and communication for instore marketing shelf setups
Auditing our retail network of stores and ensuring merchandising, signage and implementation of ongoing campaigns is to standard
Working with district/area managers to achieve merchandising compliance across all stores
Providing direction and guides for new store openings
Working with Category Management to ensure merchandising opportunities are identified and addressed
Taking initiative in identifying merchandising gaps/improvement
Ordering signage/assets via our internal design department, as needed for stores

You'll be great for this role if you have:

Min.

5 years of Merchandising experience:

Created planograms and communication for retail stores previously, in a strategic role (required)
Attention to detail, are highly organized and like ensuring communications to stores are clear, accurate, and easy to follow
Knowledge of cannabis and accessories
High proficiency in Excel sorting, filtering, basic functions, etc. (Requirement)
Adobe InDesign skills (a bonus)
A vehicle for travel (travel will occur on a biweekly basis or as determined with Manager)
