The Opportunity:

We're looking for an Events Coordinator to join our Events team.


This role can be mostly remote, however we will on occasion require you to come onsite to our office at 1111 West Georgia St, Vancouver, BC.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Event Experiences the Events Coordinator is responsible for leading webinars and supporting corporate events, including owning and managing small components of larger programs.

What your day looks like:


  • Lead and manage reoccurring webinars from building workback schedules, registration landing pages, platform layout, to preparing speakers and stakeholders, execution, and reporting
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to all corporate events, including invoicing, maintaining spreadsheets, coordinating meetings, organizing documentation, and data analysis
  • Accurately manage and update records of registrants, attendees, and client engagement as per assigned project's goals and objectives
  • Draft event communication pieces in collaboration with the Communications team, including invitations, landing page copy, and survey questions
  • Build and test event registration forms and eventrelated mobile apps.
  • Conduct thorough research and present proposals on specific components of a program such as awards, gifting, venues, or restaurants
  • Manage and triage inquiries in the Events Inbox
  • Play a key role in onsite and at virtual events as required for live dates, representing the Events Team in an authentic and professional manner
  • Assist in postevent evaluation, survey results collation, and reporting on other events as required
  • This role may require occasional onsite work outside of regular business hours (< 10%)

Requirements:


Your experience and skills:


  • 12 years in MarComm, event management, or hospitality role
  • University degree in marketing, communications or business administration preferred
  • Financial industry experience is an asset
  • A team player with a passion to service the needs of clients and stakeholders in a fastpaced environment
  • Flexible in nature and adaptable to change, selfmotivated and curious, organized and detailoriented
  • Fluency in communication skills in English are required and bilingual skills in French are an asset
