Description

Industrial equipment repair and service industry serving automotive, steel, aircraft, tire & rubber, pulp & paper and food & beverage companies is seeking an individual to fill the position of a Technical Account Manager for K+S Services at Pratt & Whitney Longueuil, Quebec (Montreal locations).

The Technical Account Manager position will have hands on responsibility to act as the on-site primary liaison between company and the customer on all day to day operations.


Essential Functions and Job Requirements:


  • Building relationships with customers to provide quality customer service.
  • Review and identify potential sales and service opportunities.
  • Ship, receive and expedite all orders as needed.
  • Manage internal database, ensuring data input accuracy and integrity.
  • Process repair order approvals daily.
  • Actively participate in plant sponsored initiatives, meetings, and activities.
  • Work with customer to improve their reliability, machine uptime, and Introduce cost savings initiatives.
  • Create process improvements based on data and logic.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs and the skills to grasp customer software quickly.
  • Quality training is a plus.
  • Manufacturing experience is preferred
  • U.S Citizen
  • Must have proven track record with building relationships with Customers
  • Secondary technical or mechanical level training in manufacturing related fields preferred
  • Motivated by reliability, predictive maintenance and problem solving

Additional

  • Maintain STAMP database
  • Oversee and inventory customer's repairable assets
  • Maintain working relationships with customers purchasing, maintenance and engineering departments
  • Set up spare parts strategies with customer to promote K+S repair vs new
  • Report out on KPI's, including customer cost savings
