    Dessert Holdings is looking for Warehouse Forklift Operators to join our team based in London, ON. This individual will be responsible for movingstock aroundwarehouse using a forklift andcomplete various warehouse duties, including workingin a cold environment.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:(this is meant to be an outline, not an exhaustive list of responsibilities)

    • Staging /set up of packaging materials in respective packaging departments.
    • Picking and storing of raw materials
    • Preparation of next day's receiving tickets
    • Receiving of raw materials
    • Locating products in the warehouse; use of forklift required
    • Order selection and loading of trailers.
    • Housekeeping of the receiving and shipping areas
    • Inventory cycle counts
    • Working with power equipment, hi-reach forklifts and walkies
    • Adherence to procedures, safety practices and policy

    QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

    • Must have a high school diploma.
    • Must have a valid forklift license for "Narrow Aisle Reach Truck" and"Electric Counterbalance."
    • Must have at least 1-3 years' experience as a Forklift driver.
    • Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment is an asset.
    • Must be legally eligible to work full-time in Canada.
    • Comfortable workingin cold temperatures (freezer and refrigeration)
    • Scheduling flexibility
    • Ability to work independently, well organized, effective judgment.
    • Proficient with computer applications and comfortable learning new systems
    • Focused on detail, accuracy and a strong mathematical aptitude.
    • Cooperative and works well with others, strong communicator.

    Shift Summary:

    • A-shift
      • Tuesday to Saturday 7:00am to 3:30pm
    • B-shift
      • Sunday to Thursday 3:00pm to 11:30pm
      • Tuesday to Saturday 3:00pm to 11:30pm
    • C-shift
      • Tuesday to Saturday 11:00pm to 7:30am

    What We Offer:

    Pay Rate:Probationary rate per hour is$22.71

    Full rate per houris $25.23

    • Weekend premium for all hours worked between 5:00 am - 7:00 pm.
