We are currently seeking an Electric Motor Rewind Technician in Saint John, NB

The Key Responsibilities will include:

Troubleshooting and repairing large AC & DC electric rotating equipment with random or form wound stators, rotors or armatures

Test repair motors to ensure proper repair and performance

Troubleshoot and find root cause on failed equipment

On the job training will be provided

Other duties as required

Requirements:

Mechanical or electrical background with knowledge of AC and DC electric motors

Must be able to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings

Must be able to understand and use test equipment and instruments required to perform preliminary, intermediate, and final tests.

Knowledge of other electro-mechanical rotating equipment, including pumps, would be considered an asset
