  • Job brief_
Our company is looking for a Maintenance Shop Coordinator. The job holder is required to maintain our MaintenanceCare software and all inventory that exists in the shop.

  • Responsibilities_
  • Maintain and update the MaintenanceCare software to ensure accurate recording of maintenance activities, equipment status, and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with the IT department to address any software issues or updates.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels for all parts and supplies within the maintenance shop.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits to track usage, identify discrepancies, and reorder supplies as needed.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of parts.
  • Receive and process requests for parts from technicians, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
  • Issue parts to technicians based on work orders, ensuring proper documentation and recording in the MaintenanceCare software.
  • Coordinate with technicians to understand their specific needs and provide support in locating and procuring required parts.
  • Maintain a clean and organized shop environment for efficient workflow.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team, supervisors, and other relevant departments to address any issues related to inventory or software functionality.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to facilitate smooth operations.
  • Generate regular reports on inventory levels, parts usage, and shop activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving efficiency and reducing costs.

Probationary Period: 3-months

  • Requirements_
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education is a plus.
  • Proven experience in maintenance shop coordination or a related field.
  • Familiarity with MaintenanceCare software or similar maintenance management systems.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
  • Knowledge of inventory management best practices
