Duties and Responsibilities:
Compressor Valve Shop Tech / Labourer duties will include but are not limited to:
- Rebuilding compressor valves and packing cases
- Ensuring shop area, and equipment are clean
- Assisting machinists
- Disassembly/ reassembly of compressor components
- Operating machines such as: lapping table, surface grinders, manual lathes, milling machines, etc.
- Inspecting and repairing equipment and components
- Cleaning
- Shipping/ receiving duties
- Communication with staff and customers
- Experience in the compression industry is an asset
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to work overtime hours as required
- Strong timemanagement skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Prioritizing skills
- Excellent work ethic
