Description

Electric Horsepower Inc., a fast-paced oilfield manufacturing company in Nisku, AB is looking for a Purchaser to join our team.

Currently EHP is manufacturing commercial electric heaters, auxiliary fracing equipment and refurbishing drilling rigs along with any ancillary equipment for local and international customers.

The successful applicant will be responsible for the daily purchasing and coordination of product deliveries in support of the project teams.

The applicant will have a dynamic skill set that pays attention to detail to meet and exceed client needs and expectations, as well as the ability to perform duties in a professional and courteous manner.

• Generate purchase orders as required by requisitioners based on vendor quotations that have been selected and approved for purchase.
• Followup with suppliers on orders to ensure ontime delivery of materials and documentation.
• Continually communicate with suppliers on late orders and convey any issues with the project manager to assist in resolving the delay.
• Liaising with Project Managers and Management regarding purchase status to ensure project timelines are met.
• Coordinate and complete all documentation for product returns.
• With the Project Managers on collection and filing of final documentation for product with certifications, MTR's etc.
• Communicate with Finance Department any Vendor requirements for special payment terms, deposits and credit accounts to be established.
• Coordinate the receiving of products and required documentation to document the receipt of products.

• Knowledge of Drilling Rig Equipment and the Oil and Gas Industry would be an asset
• Previous experience in an engineering and fabrication environment

• Ability to work independently and cohesively within groups with a strong work ethic
• Exceptional organizational skills to meet tight schedules and deadlines with the ability to effectively communicate verbally and written
• Eager to learn with strong listening and critical thinking and problemsolving skills.
