Shared Health leads the planning and coordinates the integration of patient-centred clinical and preventive health services across Manitoba. The organization also delivers some province-wide health services and supports centralized administrative and business functions for Manitoba health organizations.


Position Overview:


The Clerk III provides receptionist duties for the Diagnostic Services department and is the primary point of contact for patients/clients receiving services in department.

The Clerk III is responsible for the provision of a variety of clerical and administrative duties within the Diagnostic Services department.

The Clerk III strives to provide best practice Diagnostic Imaging Services on a regional basis in order to promote good health and quality of life.


Experience:


  • Experience as a clerk receptionist in a hospital or doctor's office in the last five (5) years

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):


  • Grade 12 education (MB Standards)
  • Completion of a recognized medical terminology course or program, Level I and II (or equivalent)
  • Evidence of attending continuing education and/or inservices

Certification/Licensure/Registration:
