  • Your Role

    As Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for facilitating the overall operation of the facility's office through daily administrative tasks. Reporting to the General Manager, the Administrative Assistant will also be the first point of contact for producer/customer calls and will redirect inquiries to the appropriate resource or Manager when needed.

    Day to Day

  • Perform exceptional customer service and reception
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation and filing per auditing standards
  • Assisting with settling internal and external account needs
  • Crop inputs transactions including participation with inventory controls
  • Grain contract drafting and invoicing assistance
  • Assist with safety/HACCP documentation
  • General office duties including maintaining supplies
  • Work with other business areas and departments as required
  • Qualifications

  • Experience in an office, clerical, or administrative role
  • Knowledge of or previous experience in the agricultural industry
  • Post-secondary education in administration or agriculture is considered an asset
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail with proven ability to multitask
  • Effective decision-making and problem-solving abilities
  • Skilled in the use of Microsoft 365 Application Suite
