Advantage Personnel is currently recruiting for a Production Worker position on behalf of our client in St. John's. As a production worker you are responsible for cutting food, operating machinery, packaging products, and performing quality control checks. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions carefully. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a food production setting.

Available Shifts: Monday-Friday 7:00am to 4:00pm

Rate of Pay: $19.00 per hour


Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all safety and sanitation guidelines while operating machinery and preparing food items
• Monitor food production lines to ensure proper functioning and minimal downtime
• Inspect finished products for quality and compliance with company standards
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the work area, including all utensils, tools, and equipment
• Perform regular maintenance on food processing equipment

Candidate Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a food production environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
• Strong organizational skills and multitasking ability
• Exceptional Communication Skills and the ability to work in a team environment
