Job summary
Drive high levels of employee engagement that result in attaining maximum standards for production quality safety and positive employee labor relations Drive continuous process improvement utilizing LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies in the areas of cost service accuracy and productivity while driving employee engagement Drives accountability at all levels of the Distribution Centre Partner cross functionally to ensure product is shipped to customer specifications and on time Drive leadership initiatives to build working relationships with both Company and Union leadership to facilitate a strong partnership resulting in a productive collaborative and flexible working environment Drive health and safety initiatives in conjunction with the Company s health and safety experts to create a safe working environment for all associates Develops direct reports to ensure succession plans are in place for the organization Ensures supervisor development includes technical soft skills to support creating a work environment where associates feel valued Manages drives overall performance of direct reports promote positive work environment Other duties assigned including potential involvement facility projects initiatives Requirements Qualifications Experience wholesale retail distribution direct consumer fluctuating volumes preferred Management unionized workforce required WMS Manhattan Associates Start up project management experience Leader Stakeholder Background Industrial Engineering Lean Six Sigma methodologies Kaizens PDCAs plus Strong practical understanding distribution flow integration automation Establish execute plans time utilizing multiple layers resources shift Skilled leading motivating holding large teams accountable Ability quickly assess situations develop creative solutions complex problems financial outcomes Work effectively cross functionally manage multiple stakeholders competing priorities Moderate advanced analytical thinking data analysis above average excel skills preferred Minimum years distribution experience include years leadership role medium large distribution centre primary accountability entire shift segment Bachelor degree emphasis Industrial engineering logistics distribution related areas expertise combined college education work experience substituted degree LOCATION Etobicoke ON CAN FULL TIME PART FULL Full time Current LS Co Employees apply via Workday account Levi Strauss Co welcomes encourages applications people disabilities Accommodations available request candidates taking part aspects selection process If contacted employment opportunity please advise Recruiter require accommodation during recruitment process Informing Company require accommodation will not impact selection process favorably or negatively>
