Bartender


Duties:


  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to customers
  • Take customer orders and provide recommendations on drink selections
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Clean and sanitize bar area, including utensils, glassware, and equipment
  • Maintain inventory of bar supplies and restock as needed
  • Handle cash transactions and operate cash register
  • Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar

Experience:


  • Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
  • Knowledge of retail math for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating drink prices
  • Understanding of food handling and service procedures in the food industry
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary:
$15.50-$16.50 per hour

Licence/Certification:

  • Smart Serve (preferred)

Shift availability:

  • Night Shift (preferred)
