HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD
Under the Supervisor - Surface Electrical, you will have the opportunity to work in a safe, unique, and motivating environment.
Your main duties will be:
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance work on equipment.
- Perform maintenance, calibration, diagnostics, troubleshooting and repair of equipment such as 4160/600/240/120volt motor control centers, variable frequency drives, programmable logic controllers, measuring instruments (level, flow, pressure, density, analysis, etc.) and control valves.
- Participate in the improvement and optimization of various systems to increase production performance and equipment reliability in addition to standardizing or improving safety and working conditions.
PROFILE REQUIRED
- College diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology
- Automation and Control, or equivalent in a Canadian College. Combined with five (5) years of experience in plant maintenance in a mining or heavy industrial environment.
- Have relevant experience in the field of electrical distribution and in instrumentation and control.
- Have a certificate of competency in electricity (C license).
- Valid driver's license.
- Working knowledge of English is an asset.
