This is a unionized role with the Public Alliance Service of Canada (PSAC) and all wages and benefits are determined as per the Collective Bargaining Agreement.

Reporting to the Lead Agent, the Pass Office Agent will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities:

  • Prepare, issue, validate and amend the Restricted Area Identification Card (RAIC) program for employees and others;
  • Receive and review applicant's documentation for accuracy and completeness;
  • Evaluate requests for passes and permits based on client and Company protocol;
  • Act as the first point of contact for individuals entering the Pass Office with inquiries, concerns or complaints;
  • Provide support and education to individuals seeking access/clearance;
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge in all relevant pass and permit practices, policies and procedures;
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality when processing personal or sensitive information;
  • Escalate appropriate incidents to the management team, such as when a person or Company withholds payment or when a person or Company has been denied access;
  • Complete a variety of reports; such as the daily/shift report, occurrence reports and other required logs.
