Oakville Wellness Centre offers counselling and other professional services in Winnipeg Manitoba to children, adolescents, and adults.

We provide therapy, cognitive, emotional, and behavioural psychological assessments along with speech-language assessments and therapy to individuals with a wide variety of difficulties.

This depends on the speech language pathologist availability and the number of referrals.

Responsibilities and Duties

Providing assessments as well as implementing a treatment plan
Reporting results and interpretations of tests, interviews and evaluations
Providing treatment of a variety of speechlanguage issues using evidencebased practice
Participating as a member of the multidiciplinary team in case reviews as necessary
Creating and maintaining patient records in a timely manner

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Speech Language Pathologist required.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to problemsolve complex situations and manage sensitive issues.
Comprehensive knowledge and skill in a range of intervention modalities.
Meet the Continuing Competence requirements.
Ability to complete and interpret reports.
Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary setting.
