  • You'll be responsible for:

  • Reviewing and managing overall project schedule.
  • Scheduling planning, developing and maintaining the project Master schedule to meet the project objectives, schedule basis, managing the progress measurement and earned value, schedule reporting, schedule change implementation and developing and maintain the schedule management plan.
  • Developing progress measurement process and analyze progress and performance data.
  • Managing the progress measurement and earned value, schedule reporting, and implementation of change orders in the schedule.
  • Preparing scheduling and planning procedures and work instructions and make sure that they are followed by the contractors and project team.
  • Developing and maintaining the basis of schedule for each baseline schedule.
  • Creating and implementing key scheduling requirements such as activity coding, naming conventions, client requirements management protocol, project calendars, and resource and plant data libraries.
  • Analyzing schedule variance, float, and trending and monitor schedule KPI's. ·
  • Supporting progress measurement process and analyze progress and performance data.
  • Coordinating with internal teams to ensure accuracy of schedule inputs.
  • Coordinating and reporting, on a monthly basis or as required, to the program and stakeholders' updates to key milestones and activities including impact analysis,
  • Supporting and inputting to integrated master schedule, supporting and directing (as required) at meetings convened by the sponsors with vendors to review project work schedule.
  • Reviewing and managing the contractor's schedule submission and provide recommendation on baseline, re-baseline, schedule recovery and acceleration to the program.
  • Performing schedule validation and analysis as part of the change management process.
  • Ensuring schedules are correlated and reconciled.
  • Reviewing monthly schedule submissions from vendors using observations gained on-site (actual progress vs reported progress, verification of means and methods used as per those indicated in schedule submissions, verification that risk response actions identified by contractor are being actioned etc.)
  • Developing and maintaining assigned project schedules and provides various complex planning and scheduling activities throughout the project life cycle to maintain the integrity of the program plan, provide analysis for activity scenarios.
  • Reviewing actual vs. planned activities from vendors schedules, and accurately forecasting completion schedules based on diverse information sources that affect project schedule and updating the schedule changes and action decision log.
  • Regularly assessing risks, analyzing schedule disruptions, and determining root causes; identifying strategies for catching up on lost time, avoiding potential delays, and recommending opportunities to accelerate work completion and recovery.
  • Guiding the team to establish rules of credit, rules of assignment, and schedule development roadmap.
  • Developing and maintaining schedule management plan.
  • Handling any conflicts or disputes related to scheduling conflicts or delays, working towards amicable resolutions to keep the project on track.
  • You'll need to have:

  • Proficiency in using scheduling software such as Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, TILOS or other relevant tools to create, manage, and update project schedules.
  • Expertise in progressive delivery methodologies and its implementation in infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Experience in handling changes to the project schedule, evaluating their impact, and implementing necessary adjustments to keep the project on track.
  • Familiarity with subway construction processes, infrastructure requirements, and the unique challenges associated with underground transportation projects.
  • The ability to analyze project data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the project schedule and delivery.
  • Establish a 'right first time' culture across the project or program team to ensure the most efficient delivery of project or program for the client.
  • Creating a high performing culture open to constructive challenge, seeking continual improvement and implementing lessons learnt.
  • Monitoring and managing project staff performance (including non-Comtech resources) in are of specialty on the project or program to ensure excellence in results.
  • Ensures teams are clear and focused on performance objectives.
  • Rapid rail and transit scheduling experience including developing the construction schedules for stations, rail, and systems is required.
  • Completion of university degree in engineering or related discipline or a combination of education, training, and experience deemed equivalent
  • Primavera P6 (or equivalent program) experience
  • Experience in transit rail systems and construction planning, managing multiple schedules from vendors working on same project that feed into master schedule
  • Experience in developing and analyzing project schedule, for projects being delivered through progressive delivery models.
  • Experience in schedule analysis in RFP stage of new procurements, perform post bid analyses and other estimating information to facilitate effective and efficient decision-making by project leaders
  • Excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills
  • Experience with Claims and EOT analysis.
  • You'll also have:

  • Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
  • Extensive experience in the successful planning of projects and programs in the infrastructure sector.
  • Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen.
  • Leadership and management experience of large, diverse teams.
  • Experience of managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
