Roles & Responsibilities:

As a Quality Associate, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the quality of our products. This role reports directly to the Senior Quality Manager.


Your primary duties will include:
1.


Quality Process Development:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and implement ABG (Ace Beverage Group) specific quality processes, ensuring consistency and adherence to industry standards across multiple production sites.

Coordination & Prioritization:

Act as a bridge between Innovation, Marketing, Operations, and Sales departments, ensuring smooth coordination of quality-related activities and prioritizing tasks to meet business objectives.

3.


Manufacturing Monitoring:
Track and review manufacturing reports, promptly flagging any issues related to suppliers, repacking facilities, or storage facilities. Occasionally, conduct on-site visits and walkthroughs to ensure compliance with quality standards.
4.


Supply Chain Collaboration:
Work closely with the quality teams across the supply chain, addressing issues before, during, and after production. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including specific customers and wholesalers like the LCBO (Liquor Control Board of Ontario).
5.


Taste Testing & Data Collection:

Plan and co-lead taste testing initiatives across the company to gather valuable data on beverage performance and consistency across all facilities.

6.


Recipe Optimization:
Assist the QA Manager in recipe optimization and ingredient matching projects, contributing to continuous product improvement.
7.


Process Improvement:
Analyze all stages of the product life cycle critically to identify opportunities for enhancing efficiency and quality.
8.


Innovation Input:
Be a champion of ABG's internal culture of innovation. Play a critical role in launching new innovations on time at the best quality.


Qualifications:


  • Enthusiastic Learner: A strong desire to learn and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.
  • Adaptability: Capable of adjusting to changing priorities and seamlessly shifting focus as needed.
  • Collaborative Spirit: Enjoy working with crossfunctional teams and effectively collaborating with different departments.

Quality Beverages:
Demonstrated interest in understanding quality standards within the beverage and food industry.

  • Ownership & Initiative: Take ownership of tasks, demonstrate initiative, and pride in accomplishments.
  • Beverage Industry Experience: Previous work experience in the beverage industry is advantageous.
  • Travel Flexibility: Access to a vehicle for occasional travel purposes.
  • Education: A science background is considered an asset, but is not required to be successful.
