Armstrong Paving and Materials Group is a growing family owned and operated paving and civil contracting company with a growing fleet of trucks, trailers and equipment.

We are looking to add a shop supervisor to assist our licensed mechanics and shop staff help service, maintain and repair our growing fleet.

We have a licensed shop. International, Ford and Cummins engine experience would be an asset. Equipment includes Cat, Vogele, Komatsu, Kubota, Leeboy, Hamm, and Bomag. This roll will help organize and improve the efficiency of our shop, as well as minimizing fleet down time.

Skills required include;

Excellent organization and communication
Ability to complete a task
Ability to function in a busy environment
Ability to fill out accurate reporting forms and work orders
Ability to work as a team player

Qualifications required include;

Experience in equipment, truck or trailer repairs 310T or 310S license would be an asset but not required. Maybe a good roll for a mechanic looking to get off the shop floor.
Valid G drivers license, AZ/DZ would be an asset
Microsoft Office computer experience

Duties and responsibilities include;

Collect and track repair requests
Create work orders and assign to shop staff after prioritizing with fleet manager/president
Complete annual safety inspections reports
Track and record service and inspections records
Update regularly service and safety inspection tracking board
Help organize track and schedule seasonal major repairs and overhauls
Order parts and organize outside vendor services & equipment repairs
Maintain, inventory and order parts and comsumable materials for shop and operating fleet requirements
Research, collect and prepare quotes for seasonal major repairs and winter overhauls for equipment, trucks, trialers & vehicles in the fleet
Responsible for maintaining, organizing and tracking the yard, parts room and company tools
Conducting regularly schedule safety talks and inspections with our safety staff
Maintain a safe and clean work area at all times
