JOB OVERVIEW:


Working in tandem with the Sales and Business Development team, the Sales Co-op/Intern role will be instrumental in proactively seeking new business contacts and identifying avenues for client engagement.

This position is pivotal for driving forward our business development efforts and fostering the company's growth trajectory and may provide an opportunity for the Business Development Intern to grow within the Company once internship is completed.


LOCATION:
Coquitlam, BC (In Office)


COMPENSATION:
$20/hour


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Identify potential clients within untapped market segments.
  • Enter and manage client data within Salesforce, including activities, timelines, and profile insights.
  • Possible participation in various related sales projects such as preparation of sales reports and forecasts.
  • Ensure Business Development Manager is kept apprised of daily, weekly, monthly pending and completed tasks.
  • Provide administrative support to the Sales team.
  • Communication: facilitate discussion, present ideas in a clear, concise manner.
  • Passion for leveraging and interpreting data to drive significant business impact.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as required to adapt to the dynamic needs of our organization.

SKILLS REQUIRED:


  • Maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously with mínimal oversight and collaboratively within a team environment.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:


  • Currently enrolled in a business degree program, preferably majoring in sales and marketing.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce or similar CRM software preferred.
  • A clear security and criminal record.
