- Develop the ways of working in the general accounting area.
- Perform general accounting activities, including the preparation, maintenance and reconciliation of ledger accounts and financial statements such as balance sheets, profit-and-loss statements, and capital expenditure schedules.
- Prepare, record, analyze, and report accounting transactions and ensure the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and compliance with accepted accounting policies and principles.
- Conduct or assist in the documentation of accounting projects.
- Provide financial support, including forecasting, budgeting, and analyzing variations from budget when needed.
- Analyze and prepare statutory accounts, financial statements and reports when needed.
- Perform other relevant duties as assigned by the Manager.

- Postsecondary diploma or degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- One (1) to three (3) years of relevant experience, preferably in a finance setting.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, and other software (Power BI, ERP) is considered an asset.
