(TTCA) is a Tier 1 Automotive Parts Supplier to Toyota Manufacturing Facilities located in the heart of Norfolk County (Simcoe, ON).

We utilize state of the art technology to ensure our automotive parts are assembled with a high degree of quality.


The Production Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and direction of the Welding Department by establishing Annual Targets and KPI follow up.

The Manager will work closely with all departments to ensure smooth and efficient operations while promoting a team environment and improving all methods.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Create annual Annual (Hoshin) Targets, activities, and KPI follow up.
  • Budget creation, management and follow up for department labour and overheads
  • Ensure production numbers are met by creating and managing system followups.
  • Ensure priorities for the department are met.
  • Develop, support and lead the welding department in all areas such as employee relations, problem solving (TPS), setting, and achieving goals, manufacturing processes, scheduling, etc.
  • Work closely with department in the areas of safety, quality and 5S. Ensure programs are maintained, the department in is compliance with the standards, and the appropriate training is effectively given to all employees.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to maintain a high level of compliance with policies and procedures within the department.
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

Key skills and Characteristics:


  • Relevant technical skills (i.e., manufacturing, mechanical)
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • TPS knowledge
  • Leadership (setting pace, decisiveness, team development, ability to influence, organizational awareness)
  • People development (assessment of others, feedback/coaching, delegation, motivating others, performance management, communicating expectations)
  • Interpersonal skills (relationship building, teamwork, conflict resolution, customer orientation)
  • Communication (verbal/written communication, persuasive impact)
  • Judgement and thinking (strategic thinking, judgment, and decision making, problem solving, awareness)
  • Performance skills (accuracy with detail planning and organizing, efficiency)

Education/Experience Desired:


  • Minimum 5 years proven management experience
  • Minimum 35 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, automotive preferred
  • Experience in welding processes
  • Previous experience creating and managing a budget
Pay will be based on experience and qualifications.
