Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

Deliver engaging and informative first aid training sessions to diverse groups of participants.
Teach a range of first aid courses, including standard first aid, emergency first aid, CPR, AED, and specialized training as required.
Ensure training materials and equipment are prepared and maintained in accordance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrate proper techniques and procedures for assessing and responding to medical emergencies, administering First Aid treatment, and using emergency equipment.
Facilitate interactive discussions, handson practice exercises, and scenariobased simulations to reinforce learning objectives and promote skill retention.
Evaluate participant performance, provide constructive feedback, and administer assessments to verify competency and certification eligibility.
Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, evaluations, and certifications issued.
Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve training programs, curriculum materials, and instructional methods based on industry best practices and feedback from participants.

Qualifications:

Must be a certified First Aid Instructor with Canadian Red Cross_.

Strong knowledge of first aid principles, emergency response protocols, and injury prevention techniques.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex information in a clear and understandable manner.
Dynamic presentation skills and the ability to engage and motivate participants of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
Demonstrated experience in adult education, instructional design, or teaching/training roles preferred.
