Cost Analyst to join our Transmission General Admin team in a permanent position reporting to the Senior Business Analyst.


As a Cost Analyst

you will:


  • Provide accounting for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly closes.
  • Process requisitions, liaise with Accounts Payable, Procurement and other internal teams as required.
  • Prepare and process third party billing for vendors.
  • Provide detailed variance analyses.
  • Provide monthly reconciliations.
  • Perform project tasks with good overall quality, while being able to prioritize work to meet deadlines.
  • Work on Adhoc projects and analyses, as required.

What skills will make you successful?

  • You recognize yourself in most of the following competencies, and where possible possess the skills and experience listed below:
  • Have a recognized Accounting/Business Certificate or degree, and a minimum 2 years' related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • You have an excellent working knowledge of Excel, strong analytical abilities, a keen business sense, knowledge of computer operating systems, and effective organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • You have strong organizational skills, are detailoriented, and are comfortable working to deadlines.
