This position is based out of our Head Office located in
Regina, Saskatchewan.

The Operations Manager will report to the General Manager and under the general policy guidance from SCH Board of Directors, exercise a high degree of independence, initiatives and professional expertise in the administration and day to day management of RBOM (Regina Bypass Operation and Maintenance) in accordance with the contract agreement and Federal and Provincial regulations.

What is the role?

  • Overall responsibility for the various functional areas.
  • Provide leadership and direction, working with the management team to create an environment that supports high work performance standards, service oriented and innovative /continuous improvement using sound management principles.
  • Maintains responsibility for intergovernmental relations with various Ministry Departments (including Regina By-Pass Coordinator), local government agencies (City of Regina, RMs, White City, Balgonie, Pilot Butte, First Nations )
  • Take command of operations in time of crisis management.
  • Acts as a spokesperson for the organization as required.
  • Ensures QEMS policies and procedures are established, implemented, communicated, and maintained.
  • Oversees all operation and maintenance work, ensuring work quality is documented.
  • Oversees all work, ensuring time responses are met.
  • Oversees the general administration of all records
  • Promotes the continuous development and education of all staff.
  • Provides recommendations regarding short and long term management of all infrastructure assets.

What do we value?

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in civil works/project management
  • A professional Engineer, civil engineering technologist or related education would be an asset
  • Intermediate computer skills with familiarity using Microsoft Excel and Asset Management Software
  • Class 5 driver's license is required
  • Needs to live or relocate to Regina or surrounding areas

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
