The Executive Assistant position is an in person role, located in Winnipeg.

We are looking for a professional that will embrace our people first culture while assisting the President, and other management as required, with day to day tasks and forward planning.

A proactive person with that works efficiently and can juggle multiple tasks.


Assistant Responsibilities include:


  • Proactively manage the Executive's daily schedule of events, tasks and communications.
  • Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality.
  • Sustain a daily calendar of meetings and events.
  • Prepare Word, Excel, PowerPoint presentations, agendas, reports, special projects and other documents in support of objectives for the organization.
  • Arrange travel and accommodations for executives. Prepare expense reports.
  • Screen incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring nonroutine calls to the appropriate staff.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to function well in a highpaced environment; performs additional duties as assigned by executives.
  • Manage the Executive's contacts.
  • Assist in preparing and managing presentations and decks.
  • Welcome the Executive's guests by greeting them, in person or on the phone; answering or directing inquiries.
  • Represent the company in a positive light through great followthrough skills and sound judgment.
  • Reading, researching, collecting and analyzing information as needed, in advance.
  • Complete ad hoc projects as assigned
  • Coordinate and book travel

Assist Director of HR with the following:

  • Maintain digital and electronic records of employees.
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas.
  • Coordinate training sessions and seminars.
  • Perform orientations and update records of new staff.
  • Complete internal paperwork and internal interviews.

Experience & Skills:


  • 5+ years of related experience required in working in an executive assistant role supporting C-Level executives
  • Proactive in nature
  • Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally
  • Great attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Personal Assistant diploma or certification is a plus
  • Background in HR is a bonus, but not essential
