Junior Movement Instructor at Little Yogis Academy

If so, we have the perfect opportunity for you Little Yogis Academy is seeking a Junior Movement Instructor to join our dedicated team in spreading the joy of yoga and movement to kids.


About us:

Little Yogis is a mobile evidence-based movement & mindfulness enrichment program for kids.

Our tagline is "Positivity & Movement for Busy Minds" as we aim to improve physical, mental, and emotional health through our curriculum.

Little Yogis provides mindful movement instruction, mental health and wellness classes and workshops for everyone within the school and childcare community including students, school administrators, teachers and parents.


Position:
Junior Movement Instructor


Location:
Vaughan, Richmond Hill, Markham, Woodbridge, Aurora, Newmarket


Pay:
$20 per hour


Responsibilities:


  • Conducting engaging movement and yoga classes for children of various age groups.
  • Creating a fun and nurturing environment that fosters children's physical and emotional wellbeing.
  • Assisting in organizing and coordinating class activities and events.
  • Ensuring the safety and supervision of all children during classes.
  • Collaborating with other instructors and staff to enhance class experiences.

Requirements:


  • Passion for working with children and the ability to connect with them.
  • Patience, understanding, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Responsible and punctual with excellent time management skills.
  • Availability to commute to various class locations via transit or personal vehicle.
  • Comfortable working with large groups of children and managing their behavior effectively.
  • Previous experience in teaching, childcare, or relevant fields is a plus but not required.
