Job Summary:
Gamache Behaviour Consultant is looking for an outgoing, enthusiastic, receptive individual to provide ABA consulting services in-home with families. Our ideal applicant will have a background in behaviour analysis and be familiar with behaviour assessment and treatment design.

As an independent contractor, you can create a healthy work-life balance by setting your own hours and determining your caseload and cases.

Under the oversight of a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst, our Behaviour Consultants are responsible for completing behaviour assessments, designing treatment strategies, coaching families to implement strategies, and monitoring and documenting the client's progress.

Required Qualifications:

• Vulnerable Sector Check (ESSENTIAL)
• Diploma in a field related to behaviour science, behaviour analysis, or psychology (ESSENTIAL) (e.g., Autism and Behaviour Science, etc.)
• Undergraduate degree in a field related to behaviour science, behaviour analysis or psychology (PREFERRED)
• BACB Registered Behavior Technician Certificate (PREFERRED)
• 12 years experience working in a setting that utilizes Applied Behaviour Analytic processes and strategies (PREFERRED)
• 12 years experience working with children and/or adults with autism or other developmental disabilities. (PREFERRED)
• 12 years experience working with children and/or adults with mental health or behaviour concerns (PREFERRED)
• Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (ESSENTIAL)
• Understanding of ABA principles (ESSENTIAL)

Skills Required:

• Ability to tactfully communicate and discuss ongoing progress, concerns, and sensitive situations with families.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Working knowledge of Microsoft software programs (e.g., Excel, Word, Outlook)

An hourly wage ($35-40/hr) based upon demonstrated skills, education, experience, and abilities

Hours of work may fluctuate and are dependent on available caseloads.
