The Teacher Regulation Branch (TRB) is part of the Ministry of Education and Child Care and works within a legislative mandate (the Teachers Act) to ensure that educators in the K-12 school systems in BC meet and maintain standards of competence and conduct required to nurture student success, keep students safe and to foster public trust and confidence in the teaching profession.


Reporting to the Intake and Records Management Lead, the Certification Associate works as part of the Intake team to receive, review, process and prepare documents for the evaluation process, and communicates with applicants, certificate holders, employers and the general public.


Job Requirements:


  • Secondary school graduation or equivalent (i.e., GED).
  • A minimum of one year call centre or administrative support or file management experience in an office environment.
  • A minimum of two years experience in safely processing and handling sensitive information.
  • Preference may be given to applicants with one or more years of experience in any of the above.
