QUALITY CONTROL TECHNICIAN

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Quality Control Technician will perform inspections and analysis at various stages throughout the production process to ensure necessary quality requirements are met in our products.


Responsibilities and Duties:


  • Responsible for the routine and nonroutine inspection of raw materials, in process and finished products
  • Liaise with other departments to enforce company quality management system in a professional and respectful manner
  • Notify supervisors & managers of production problems, assist in identifying these problems
  • Train, communicate and enforce product quality practices
  • Monitor product waste and efficiency and assist in waste reduction and improvement projects
  • Investigate any deviation or customer complaint and assist in the corrective action plan
  • Document and prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, trending and summarizing results.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • Minimum one (1) year of experience in a Quality Assurance/Control environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
  • Computer skills such as Microsoft word, excel and outlook

Salary:
$20.00-$24.00 per hour
