About Zebra Therapy


Zebra Therapy is a holistic speech-language therapy provider with a central clinic in downtown Dundas (Hamilton), focused on pediatric therapy.

Our goal as an organization is to make the process of working as a speech-language pathologist as streamlined and easy as possible, with mínimal administrative duties as possible for you as our pathologist.


What We Are Seeking
-
In-Clinic SLP:We are looking for an SLP looking to provide services out of our clinic in Dundas. Though there is the possibility for some virtual work, regrettably SLPs looking to provide primarily virtual services should not apply.

Must Enjoy Working with Children:90% of our clients are between the ages of 2 and 12 years old. A small percentage of our clients are pre-teens and young adults.

New Grads Welcome:Recent SLP graduates are welcome to apply; mentorship is available.

Requirements:


  • Must have reliable transportation to our clinic in Dundas
  • Certified speechlanguage therapist, and be registered in good standing with CASLPO
  • Master's degree in speechlanguage pathology from a Canadian university or an institution that is otherwise recognized by CASLPO as accredited
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills & fluency in English

Additional Optional Assets

  • Preference for SLPs willing to work Saturdays
  • Strong technological skills
  • Pediatric experience working with children 012 years old, especially those with autism spectrum disorder (ASD)
  • Trained in Hanen's It Takes Two to Talk and/or More Than Words
  • Fluent in languages other than English

Compensation
- $110/hr for in-home sessions & assessments
- $90/hr for in-clinic and virtual sessions & assessments

  • Contribution towards "Stripes Fund" to pay for additional education, tools and toys
