Position Description:

We are seeking a Clinical Research Project Assistant to assist with the Intensive Care Unit Resident Schedule (InCURS, HARM Evaluated and ICU ROOM study.


Here¿s What You Will Do:


  • Work collaboratively with research team members across Canada.
  • Preparation and maintenance of regulatory documents. Including the development and upkeep of study binders for all participating sites.
  • Assists Project Manager with regulatory requirements (obtaining signatures, maintaining study trackers, collecting CVs, Medical Licenses & Training documents, organizing meetings, booking rooms).
  • Keep abreast of regulations and policies governing clinical research and communicate to research team members (e.g., Tricouncil Policy Statement, ICH Guidelines, Good Clinical Practices, and Health Canada).
  • Provide support to other research team members, where necessary.
  • Assist with site training for site coordinators.
  • Develop other study documents as required.
  • Participate in studyrelated meetings.
  • Data Entry for All Studies
  • Database Management testing

Here¿s What You¿ll Need:


  • A healthrelated discipline certificate.
  • Clinical research experience preferred.
  • Excellent problemsolving, time management.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated relevant knowledge of research regulations and guidelines (such as ICH/GCP Guidelines, Tri-Council Policy, Declaration of Helsinki, Health Canada and others).
  • Proficient in MS Office Software, and Oracle
  • Experience MS Access, Oracle, Redcap, Video Software
  • A commitment to understanding and aiding in the pursuit of equity, diversity and inclusion

Employment Type:


  • 1.0 FTE, 1 year contract, with possibility of renewal as this is an ongoing project
  • Evening and weekend work required
  • In person work
