ZF Midland is looking for a Production Supervisor to join the team.


Position Responsibilities

  • Administer disciplinary action in accordance with established procedures.
  • Analyze departmental operations and identify areas requiring improvement.
  • Approve vacation requests and monitor vacation schedules to ensure appropriate coverage.
  • Ensure that employees adhere to all health and safety regulations.
  • Plan and conduct meetings with employees to communicate team targets, goals, and projects.
  • Ensure that all employees comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
  • Oversee staff to ensure work is being performed according to established standards.
  • Plan the department's workload and flow.
  • Translate strategic goals into practical actions.
  • Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training, and development.
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide feedback, coaching, and formal evaluations.
  • Ensure employees have clear goals and are aware of expectations.
  • Coordinate activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and delegating work accordingly.
  • Oversee compliance with company policies and standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, safety, and complete and ontime delivery.
  • Oversee departmental outputs, ensuring they meet production schedules, safety and quality standards, as well as customer needs.
  • Oversee all manufacturing and processing procedures, the setting of machine or equipment controls, as well as the production and inspection processes.

Required Experience:


  • Prior manufacturing production experience in a supervisory role
  • Automotive experience preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Safety experience in production
  • Ability to foster a team environment
*This is a rotating shift position. Every 2 weeks, this position will rotate from day, afternoon, and night shift.


Pay:
$60,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
