Responsibilities

  • To operate a CNC
  • Receive general instructions from Supervisor, Charge Hand and Set-Up
  • Able to perform own setup
  • Responsible for quality control of parts produced and production of quantities as set out in the operation sheet
  • Understand and work from technical drawings as well as understanding written instructions on operations sheet
  • Ability to recognize problems when forming materials and correct issues
  • Responsible for the quality and quantity as indicated by operations sheet, with frequent inspection of work
  • Control the proper feeds and speed of different material and tools to maximize the quality and productivity
  • Perform equipment preventative maintenance at the operator level
  • Maintain a clean work area using 5S methodology
  • 3 Rotating shift work: Days, Evening and Midnights

Qualifications:


  • 23 years CNC experience
- _S_trong mechanical aptitude with good hand-eye coordination

  • Knowledge of basic handheld and air tools
  • Ability to read component blueprints
  • Familiar with tools used in the performing of CNC duties including Micrometers, Calipers and Rulers
  • Ability to understand written and verbal communication

Salary:
$28.26 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
