The Neskonlith Indian Band currently has a Full-time (1.0 FTE) teaching position at the George Emanuel Institute (Gr.9-12) in Neskonlith (Chase), British Columbia. The successful applicant will teach English and Social Studies at the High School level, with other courses as needed.

Working Details
Teachers work indoors except when supervising children outdoors or going on field trips.
Teachers may have a holiday schedule including a long summer break as well as winter and spring breaks. However, they typically work over ten‑months and are paid out over twelve months.
The scheduled hours and months to be worked will be aligned to School District 73 and will be regular school hours.
The full‑time (1.0 FTE) teaching position is housed out of the George Emanuel Institute (Gr.9-12) located on the Neskonlith Indian Band, Chase BC (located between Kamloops and Salmon Arm).
Salary: Based on teaching qualifications and years of experience (SD # 73 pay scale for reference) plus competitive benefits package (details to be discussed with successful candidate).
Rent subsidy available (details to be discussed with successful candidate).

Start date: Wednesday, April 1, 2026.
Work Conditions
Interacts with staff, students, visitors, and government agencies/personnel.
