Weekend Shop Labourer
WEEKENDS ONLY (possibility of full-time to extend into the week - weekends mandatory)


KEY EXPECTATIONS:


  • General cleaning shop duties (indoor and outdoor)
  • Pick up and drop off vehicles as needed
  • Wash fleet of vehicles and equipment by hand and using pressure washer
  • General cleaning inside vehicle and equipment cabs
  • All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & ABILITIES:


  • Selfstarting and a proactive approach
  • Critical thinking
  • Problem solving
  • Strong communication at multiple levels of an organization
  • Decision making based on both creative and logical thinking
  • Valid Class 5 British Columbia drivers license (minimum)
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Ability to work outside in all weather
  • Push, pull, lift up to 23kg (50lbs)
  • Ability to wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Ability to stand, walk on varied terrain for extended periods
  • Ability to kneel, bend, stretch in occasionally awkward positions.

Job Types:
Full-time, Part-time, Permanent


Salary:
$20.00-$22.00 per hour

  • 8 hour shift

Experience:


  • Heavy equipment or Commercial Transportation shop: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)
