As our Structural EIT, you will provide support to senior engineers in the analysis and design of various structures and buildings.

Position Overview:

Assist in the creation of drawings, reviews, calculations, specifications, and other engineering documentation for compliance with client requirements under the direction of a supervising P.Eng.

Participate in proposals in providing design concepts and layouts as well as equipment sizing. May interact directly with the client or the client's representative.

Work collaboratively with Project Management team, senior engineers and other members of the Engineering and Design team to prepare detailed design drawings and reports to meet the client's requirements.
Visit worksites as needed in providing assistance to field staff and installation crews regarding the designs.

Qualifications Needed:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and be registered as an EIT.
Design experience in the construction industry.
Knowledge and understanding of relevant design codes related to concrete and steel structural design in Canada.
Experience working in a deadline driven and competing priority environment.
