WHAT YOU'LL DO:


Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources with direct supervision provided by the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) the Human Resources Coordinator (HRC) position holds a strong focus on providing a professional and responsive client and stakeholder experience. The HRC is responsible for providing direct client service for all HR activities, focusing on completing the HR suite of services including full cycle recruitment and supporting all elements of the employee life cycle for a portfolio of Health Centre departments. The HRC is an integral contributor to support the provision of an excellent employee experience by ensuring seamless service provision between the Health Centre units and the Health Centre's systems.

The HRC works as part of the HR team within the Human Resources Division to ensure the team's work plan and the organization's vision, mission, values and strategic directions are implemented.

The HRC receives regular operational supervision and direction from the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) including training, coaching and development. In consultation with the Manager, the HRC receives a performance appraisal from the HRBP assigned to their portfolio.

The HRC consults with the HRBP and Manager as appropriate on escalated and/or complex matters with the potential for broad, organization-wide impact as well as the implementation of programs and policies.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:


Undergraduate degree in Human Resources, Business or a related field or equivalent experience, or

Undergraduate degree in a related field with a Post-Graduate Certificate in Human Resources Management

Graduate diploma or degree in Human Resources or a related field or equivalent related experience

In pursuit of CHRP or completion of CHRP

An ability to effectively use Microsoft Office Suite programs

One year of experience working in Human Resources or business environment

Experience practicing in a unionized environment is preferred
