Description
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating deliveries of material and equipment with suppliers and vendors
- Creating schedules for workers and subcontractors
- Maintaining a daily log of construction site operations and identifying any gaps or areas that need to be addressed
- Implementing techniques and strategies that are both efficient and costeffective
- Collaborating with Project Manager to promote project progress
- Inspecting the subcontractors' work to ensure the work has been performed in compliance with the drawings
Requirements:
- At least 1 year experience in local residential construction. 3 years or higher is preferable
- Basic MicroSoft software operating skills: Excel, Word, Outlook, Project
- Skills in operating AutoCAD or Revit is preferable
- Sufficient knowledge on residential construction techniques
- Thorough understanding of budgeting best practices in construction projects
- Excellent communication skills
- Problemsolving and decisionmaking skills: tracking project progress and actively solving problems occurs on site to ensure ontime project progress
- Active listening skills
Education:
- Completion of Grade 12 or higher
Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent
Salary:
$16.00-$20.20 per hour
