We are a rapidly growing company seeking a Landscape Maintenance Division Manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

As the Maintenance Division Manager, you will oversee all aspects of two maintenance divisions located in Kitchener/Waterloo and Toronto.

With the Kitchener/Waterloo division experiencing rapid growth and the Toronto division in the planning phase, your expertise in scaling divisions will be instrumental in driving success.

Your ability to delegate tasks effectively and ensure seamless operations will be paramount.


Responsibilities:


  • Provide comprehensive oversight of the maintenance divisions in Kitchener/Waterloo and Toronto, ensuring efficient operations and meeting performance targets.
  • Manage the estimating of the division, ensuring accurate pricing and profitable projects
  • Manage daytoday scheduling, optimizing resource allocation and project timelines.
  • Work closely with the sales manager to ensure 'right fit' prospects are being converted into clients
  • Work closely with Account Managers to ensure client satisfaction, meet enhancement sales targets, and foster longterm relationships.
  • Assist in hiring, training, and developing employees, conducting performance reviews, and implementing disciplinary measures when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, keeping staff up to date with required certifications and training.
  • Be apart of the operations management team, joining weekly meetings and helping to solve 'in the business' issues
  • Help create and take accountability for meeting weekly, monthly, and annual budget goals for labour, equipment, and materials within the division.
  • Track client satisfaction metrics through site visits, surveys, and proactive followup actions.
  • Oversee invoicing processes for the Maintenance divisions, ensuring accuracy and timely billing.

Seasonal Focus:

Snow removal services are not provided by our company. Instead, during the winter months, your focus will shift towards strategic planning and preparation for the upcoming year.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory/managerial position of a $1M+ division
  • Proven track record in rapidly scaling a division and managing growth.
  • Experience with company mergers is an asset, although not required.
  • College Diploma, Apprenticeship, Certified Horticultural Technician, or University degree in Horticulture or Landscape Technology preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of landscape materials, encompassing both hard and soft materials.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to both teach and learn from others.
