Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Accounting Technician (4) on a permanent basis at our Home Office in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.


Who we are:


What you'll do:


You will be responsible for processing batching & keying petroleum meter tickets, holdbacks, payments and charges, following up and processing on outstanding EDI tickets, reconciling GL accounts, carrier claims, setting up unconfirmed freight at month end, and preparing trucking operations and cost/sales report.


  • You will batch and key meter tickets, confirm freight information, request copies of missing meter tickets.
  • You will track, reconcile, and pay lease operator holdbacks, key monthly charges to lease operators, code and process freight payments to common carriers and lease operators for product deliveries.
  • You will reconcile and track common carrier claims done by the distribution centres and followup/process outstanding EDI meter tickets from CRC, for all refineries, correct and process rejected EDI meter tickets.
  • You will set up unconfirmed freight at month end, prepare and distribute petroleum trucking operations and cost/sales reports.
  • You will adjust and correct meter tickets as required and reconcile various general ledger accounts. Other duties as assigned.
