You have:


  • Successful completion of a relevant postsecondary education in Business, Statistics, Human Resources, Psychology
  • A minimum of five (5) years in Human Resources, specifically with workforce planning/people analytics
  • Technical handson expertise in data visualization, business intelligence and reporting
  • Ability to exercise judgement and tact required to address sensitive topics, effectively manage relationships and manage difficult conversations involving the reduction of staff, elimination or restructuring work
  • Experience with Data Analytics software including Tableau and Power BI
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organization skills and ability to multitask on concurrent projects with competing priorities

Nice to have:


  • Completion of, or working towards, Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation

What you will do:


  • Lead the advancement of MPAC's workforce analytics through continuous improvement in data quality, data management practices and standard tools and capabilities
  • Define & advance standard methodologies and champion the use of data & analytics organizationwide
  • Manage workforce analytics, insights and reporting and lead the execution of people analytics initiatives/projects
  • Develop and deliver key people data projects and analysis to transform organizational data into practical insights
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert while managing projects and programs focused on people analytics solutions and strategic HR insight related plans
  • Design and implement Strategic Workforce Planning Program managing workforce plans across all departments; ensuring workforce planning activities are executed, evaluated and continuously refined to meet the identified needs of the organization
  • Build the organization's capability to conduct long term talent planning, trend analysis and demographic projection of workforce needs
  • Provide consultation and advice to leadership on strategic workforce planning issues, and identify opportunities to imbed workforce planning into the overall corporate strategic, business and financial planning processes
  • Analyze trends to recommend operational improvements in execution
  • Provide direction and leadership to Workforce Analyst regarding workforce data analytics and reporting
