The Role:

We're looking for a Content Translator with flawless French and English writing skills to join our team in the province of Quebec.

This creative, adaptable, and articulate translator will contribute to our customer growth and engagement in the Quebec market, and work with teams in Winnipeg and Calgary.

What you'll be doing:

You translate from English to French Canada
You translate clear, concise, errorfree content that adheres to Neo's brand style and compliance guidelines with an emphasis on how this content will be received by the Quebec audience
You contribute to developing new product terminology as Neo develops its offering
You collaborate with designers, engineers, product owners, and marketing colleagues on new product features and functionality
You're a resource for team members who are looking to understand translation, localization and the specifics of operating in the Quebec market
You contribute to new product campaigns with your understanding of the Quebec culture
You work on multiple projects with short deadlines and you understand how to prioritize
You occasionally write highengagement product content that reflects Neo's brand's voice in both English and French
You can translate content from French to English, when needed

Who we're looking for:

You have 3+ years of work experience in translation
You're a native French speaker with fluency in English
You understand the Quebec culture and audience perfectly, and you have the ability to make current and local references easily
You understand that laws in Quebec are different than the rest of Canada and you can flag possible problems
You're a highperforming translator who's used to working in a fastpaced environment
You think critically and communicate effectively with designers, developers, and other teams to solve tough problems
You're an amazing communicator—you keep other team members informed of upcoming projects as well as current terminology or compliance decisions
You have a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in translation/localization or linguistics
You follow processes and procedures as well as best practices set out by Neo
You're exquisitely resourceful, adaptable, and unafraid of change
You can juggle multiple requests with competing priorities
You know how CAT tools and other translation tools work, such as termbases, translation memories, concordancers, and machine translation work
You have some experience with translating financial or banking content (preferred)
You have some experience with creative writing and/or copywriting (preferred)
You're proficient with G-Suite, including Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.
Experience with Crowdin, Slack, and Jira is a plus.
