We're Quandri, our mission is to unlock the world's insurance data so brokerages and agencies can best serve their clients. Our Renewal Intelligence Platform is designed to help brokerages save time, increase profitability, and drive better outcomes for their staff, clients, and business. We are a hybrid company, with ⅔ of our team in Vancouver and the rest distributed. For those in Vancouver, we have an office in Gastown that we expect people to be at three days a week. About the Role

We're looking for a co-op to improve our team velocity using the latest AI coding tools Co-op duration is flexible, ideally this person will start ASAP and will run for 4 months with the possibility of extension. Candidates must be in-person in Vancouver, BC. The position will work closely with an engineer, as well as the VP of engineering and other senior engineering leaders. The team has a hybrid work schedule, in our Gastown Vancouver office Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and working remotely the rest of the week.

Location: Vancouver, Hybrid (3 days in office)

What you'll do

Create a new end-to-end development environment integrated with Github using Cursor, Devin, or other enterprise-ready tools that can implement product features and small bug fixes with little engineering effort. Run experiments and present findings to engineering leadership on the impact and feasibility of implementing the AI tools team-wide. Learn from experienced engineers best practices in coding, technical design, testing, devops, and AWS cloud infrastructure.

• 3rd or 4th year Computer Science Major
• Basic proficiency in Python
• Basic understanding of APIs, SQL and NoSQL databases, Github, software development lifecycle
• Interest in use of AI in accelerating software engineering velocity

Compensation

• The range for base pay is $19 - $25 which is dependent on level of experience
