You as a Senior Project Coordinator, Design-Build will:

  • Be involved in the design management and coordination of a major design-build project
  • Be responsible for ensuring all documentation is identified, received, and reviewed prior to work commencing
  • Complete technical reviews of the design to identify and resolve constructability concerns and conflicts
  • Regularly track, monitor and followup on documentation or issues
  • Review or draft RFI's and confirm accuracy prior to issuance to consultants, including the identification of optimal solutions
  • Organize and chair or minute meetings, for example to coordinate between Subcontractors and Consultants to resolve complex issues that arise
  • Ensure Subcontractors and other team members are aware of the project's technical requirements
  • Assist the Project Manager and Superintendent in planning for upcoming field work, including construction staging coordination
  • Be involved with project commissioning and project handover
  • Demonstrate a proactive commitment to health and safety requirements and environmental best practices
  • Work with the Quality Control team to ensure quality control activities, inspection programs and construction progress records are completed

Is this the right role for you?

  • You understand P3 Design-Build projects
  • You are a detail oriented, organized, reliable, and a proactive team player
  • You have an Engineering degree or Construction Management / Technology diploma
  • Experience working on MTO projects, and knowledge of OPSS specifications would be considered an asset, but not a requirement
  • You are eager to learn, grow your career, and contribute to the successful completion of a major designbuild project
